Man thrashed for not inviting friends for birthday bash

THANE: Four persons from Saravali village of Bhiwandi were booked for allegedly beating their friend who failed to invite them for his birthday party, police said on Monday. Kongaon police said no one was arrested. A few friends of Nilesh Patil (26) celebrated his birthday on December 31. They clicked a photograph of him cutting the cake and sent it on a social media group. On seeing this, some other friends got annoyed as they were not invited. They then called him to Babosa compound at night and attacked him with iron rods.
