A majority of the members have complete nine year. President Sharad Pawar has already resigned. The current committee was elected in 2015 and if the cooling off period is implemented, the entire managing committee will go.

The Gujarat association too is worried by the cooling-off period. A majority of the current members have complete 5-6 years in office.

More than 90% of the association members would be wiped out when the report is implemented.

It too will be left with few options. Niranjan Shah, the former BCCI secretary and SCA’s face, will have to relinquish due to age, tenure.
