AFTER THE COMPLAINANT’S MARRIAGE BROKE, SHE AND THE ACCUSED CAME CLOSER AND LATER FORGED A RELATIONSHIP

A woman faces arrest for allegedly posting nude pictures of her female colleague.

In a complaint registered at the Navghar police station, a 45-year-old-woman alleged that her colleague, with whom she was in a relationship, uploaded her nude photo as her display picture on a social networking site.

The complainant, a divorcee, and the accused work at the pathology department of a reputable private hospital.

It was after the complainant’s marriage broke, she and the accused came closer and later forged a relationship.

Police stated that the complainant had started to distance herself from the accused, which miffed the latter.

The accused then uploaded the complainant’s nude picture and set it as her display picture.

A complaint was eventually registered after the accused failed to pay heed to the complainant’s request of deleting the picture.

Though the accused woman moved sessions court and sought anticipatory bail claiming innocence, the court rejected her plea stating that the case was of serious nature and custodial interrogation of the accused was necessary.

The accused is on the run since the time her bail plea was rejected.

“The accused is absconding and we have launched a manhunt to arrest her,” said a police officer. Police are also investigating if there are any financial disputes between the two women.

Breaking her silence after being abducted and assaulted by a gang, a noted Malayalam actor said on Tuesday life has shown her things she never wanted to see but is confident that she “would always get up”.

She also thanked all those who supported her.

“Life has knocked me down a few times, it showed me things I never wanted to see. I experienced sadness and failures. But one thing for sure, I always get up! ThankYouAll# ForTheLove#ForThePrayers,” she wrote on Instagram.

Malayalam film actor Prithviraj has shared her Instagram post on his Facebook wall.

The actor, who has also starred in Tamil and Telugu films, was allegedly abducted and molested inside her car for two hours by a group of men on the night of February 17. Six persons had been arrested by police in the case.
