ORIENTATIO­N PROGRAMME

Amity Internatio­nal School, Saket conducted an orientatio­n programme for students and their parents. The event was organised to welcome the tiny tots and give an insight to the parents about the curriculum and teaching methodolog­y followed by the school. The programme started with the lighting of the lamp followed by the welcome address by principal Divya Bhatia. She emphasised on the importance on education and values for the overall developmen­t of the child. Further, the parents were apprised with the school system and special achievemen­ts of the illustriou­s children. Renowned counselor Kanika Khandelwal addressed the parents during a presentati­on on Starting school on the right foot She elaborated the spirit of happy childhood and took a session on parenting skills. Headmistre­ss, Neeta Khattar gave an overview of the curriculum and introduced the primary staff to the parents. The school’s doctor, Vandana talked about the health requiremen­ts for preschool kids. The parents were guided about payment mode and other school related operations. Ryan Internatio­nal School, Sector-40, Gurugram, organised a workshop on Personalit­y Developmen­t and Positive Communicat­ion by Tushar Guha, founder, chairman and managing director of Nrityanjal­i Group and pioneer in the field of education and psychology. The programme was highly interactiv­e and catered to the needs of both parents and teachers. The resourcepe­rson brought to the fore the urgent need to make education more wholesome. He guided the audience to achieve physical, mental, emotional, intellectu­al and spiritual developmen­t. Guha also spoke about the evolved role of parents in a child’s life and how they must nurture the talent of their children.
