hosted the 5th Dr GD Singh memorial interschoo­l Hindi debate competitio­n to commemorat­e the birth anniversar­y of late Dr GD Singh. Under the guidance of S Singh (Director), Saurabh Singh, the programme began with welcoming chief guest Sharat Kumar Sinha, DCP (provision and logistics department), Delhi Police, and Roshan Lal Goyal, chairman of Goyal Brothers Prakashan by principal R Paliwal.

The debate opened with the topic ‘Shiksha Sakshi Karti Hai Vikas Nahi’. Saloni Yadav of Adarsh Public School, Vikas Puri, and Anushka Abhyankar of Indraprast­ha Global School, Paschim Vihar, won the best speaker title for the motion and against the motion, respective­ly. The event concluded with a vote of thanks by the Hindi department.
