The endeavour aimed at acquainting students with the literary genius of William Shakespeare. ‘Humour in Shakespeare’, ‘Book Mark Making’, ‘Face Mask Making’, ‘Soliloquy and Monologue Presentation’ were some of the enriching and enjoyable activities which drifted the students into the world of Bard’s engaging plots and round characters. hosted the 5th Dr GD Singh memorial interschool Hindi debate competition to commemorate the birth anniversary of late Dr GD Singh. Under the guidance of S Singh (Director), Saurabh Singh, the programme began with welcoming chief guest Sharat Kumar Sinha, DCP (provision and logistics department), Delhi Police, and Roshan Lal Goyal, chairman of Goyal Brothers Prakashan by principal R Paliwal.
The debate opened with the topic ‘Shiksha Sakshi Karti Hai Vikas Nahi’. Saloni Yadav of Adarsh Public School, Vikas Puri, and Anushka Abhyankar of Indraprastha Global School, Paschim Vihar, won the best speaker title for the motion and against the motion, respectively. The event concluded with a vote of thanks by the Hindi department.
