Former minister and suspended AAP legislator Kapil Mishra on Sunday dared senior party leader Kumar Vishwas to speak his mind on ‘corruption’ allegations against chief minister Arvind Kejriwal and his cabinet colleague Satyendar Jain.

Mishra, who had sided with the poet-turned politician in May when he questioned the party leadership and its style of functioning, reached the residence of Vishwas in Ghaziabad with his supporters and wanted to meet the leader.

As Vishwas was reportedly not at home, Mishra and his supporters were not allowed inside the house following which the group did a sit-in at the gates.

Even as the group raised antiKejriwal slogans, Mishra tried to call Vishwas on his phone, besides reaching out to him through Twitter. “It was Vishwas who first raised the issue of corruption in his video ‘we the nation’. Why is he silent now when I have provided proof of corruption against Kejriwal and Jain. I came here to meet him and hand over evidence, why is he not responding? If he is not at home, he could have taken my calls. He needs to clarify the reasons behind his silence,” Mishra said.

Ever since he was dumped from the cabinet in May, Mishra has come up with a series of allegations against Kejriwal and Jain. He has accused the party of being involved in hawala transactions and accepting donations from shell companies.

Mishra had openly supported Vishwas when the crisis involving him and party MLA Amanatullah Khan was at its peak.
