Six arrested, fight started inside the pub

investigat­ion into the murder of a youth outside a mall in Rajouri garden revealed that the fight had started inside the pub, while the deceased was dancing and had accidental­ly elbowed the main accused. A day after a youth was stabbed outside a mall in west Delhi, police arrested six persons.

Police said the murder was a result of the deceased Sajjan, a Moti Bagh resident, accidental­ly elbowing one of the accused Imran while dancing. Sajjan was stabbed outside the mall on Sunday by at least six persons while he was leaving after the party at around 6pm.

DCP west Vijay Kumar said that Saleem, Aleem, Abid, Imran, Samar and Umar have been arrested.

accused confessed that a brawl had started in a pub inside the mall, when Sajjan accidental­ly elbowed Imran. A brawl broke out, after which Imran called his brother Saleem, who came to the mall with his four friends.

During investigat­ion, police learnt about the scuffle, Sajjan had with Imran inside the pub.

Police then scanned the CCTV cameras and traced Imran leaving the pub. He was then spotted waiting for his friends, after which he was stabbed to death.
