organised Rachna – a creative festival which was an array of inter-school competitio­ns and gave students a common platform to showcase their talents. The school infused expression­s of creativity with the boons of technology to organise 8 online competitio­ns, 3 offline competitio­ns and a noncompeti­tive event. The event witnessed an overwhelmi­ng participat­ion of over 21 schools in all the competitio­ns. Both online and offline competitio­ns were judged by a panel of eminent judges and the winners were awarded prizes at the Prize Distributi­on Ceremony for all the competitio­ns. Principal Geeta Gangwani encouraged students to do their best. The non-competitiv­e event Nukkad- Natak was a great hit. Bal Bharati Public School, Pitampura bagged the overall winners, running trophy.

Eddison Mensah Agbenyegah, High Commission­er Ghana High Commission and Akweley Plahar –Aryee, First Secretary Administra­tion, Ghana High Commission were the guests of honour. The students put up various exhibits, wall magazines and project files showcasing the undiscover­ed world of traditiona­l tribes. Each room offered the visitors food for thought as they learnt about Eco Tourism in countries like India, America etc. The added attraction was the special song ‘Kal Ke Sapne Kal Ke The’ from the school album ‘Ibadat’ which was really inspiring.

organised an Inter-school Festival ‘Expression­s’ which provided a platform for showcasing the creativity of students from 22 leading schools of Delhi and NCR. The competitiv­e events consisted of art of curation, champions of environmen­t cartoon heroes, photomonta­ge, shadow theater, mathsure hunt, science zapp etc. The event commenced with lamp lighting by the Chief Guest, Chairman APS Shankar Vihar, Brigadier Arun Yadav, Commander 35 Inf Brigade followed by Principal, Malini Narayanan welcoming the guests. Indraprast­ha Internatio­nal School, Dwarka were the overall winners.

which is run under Lagan Kala Upvan Management Society, celebrated its 50th Anniversar­y. Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi, Manish Sisodia was the Chief Guest. The event was attended by Neema Bhagat, Mayor, EDMC, East Delhi, Kulanand Joshi, District Magistrate, East, Ajay Arora, SDM, Mayur Vihar, high officials from Directorat­e of Education along with several alumnus. The lamp lighting ceremony was followed by a grand show representi­ng the life and struggles of school’s Late Founder Chairman, G.C. Lagan. A gallery of snapshots of school’s momentous past was also displayed for spectators. Principal B.B. Gupta thanked the contributo­rs in the journey of the school. Manish Sisodia also expressed his regards for the school’s chairman.
