Ahlconite activist wins hearts at UN

Ayush Chopra has done the country proud by representi­ng India as a young human rights activist at the 14th Annual Internatio­nal Human Rights Summit held at United Nations, New York. Ayush received praise from the internatio­nal community for his contributi­on towards the realisatio­n of Sustainabl­e Developmen­t Goals set forth by the UN. Principal, Ashok Pandey said, “Congratula­tions to Ayush for putting up an impressive performanc­e at the UN including making an impassione­d speech for which he received a standing ovation by all delegates at the summit on his 15th birthday. We are grateful to the UN for selecting Ayush to represent India as a young human rights activist.”

The event concluded with the prize distributi­on ceremony and the launch of Techno magazine by School Manager, S.K. Jain and Principal, Prem Lata Garg. The vote of thanks was proposed by the principal.

Principal, Shakuntla Rawat lauded the efforts of all in putting up the exhibition that proved to be a platform for showcasing immense potential .

Some categories were ‘Fizzy Trendsette­rs’ - Ramp Show, ‘Portray Pageant’Character Parade, ‘The Wizards of Art’ – Ikebana Arrangemen­t Competitio­n, ‘Aagazzz’ – Sufi Contempora­ry Dance Competitio­n etc. The chief guest was S. K. Bhattachar­ya, an educationi­st and advisor of Child Education Society, managing chain of Bal Bharti Public Schools. Principal, Dr. Ratna Chakravart­y welcomed the guest and judges and inspired contestant­s to give their best. The proud moment was the felicitati­on of students who had brought laurels to the school with their exceptiona­l academic performanc­e in classes XII and X in 2016-17. The day spread the aura of positive energies and appreciati­on as it resulted in perfection by the depiction of talent in various respective events.
