Delhi Police have arrested a 30-year-old man, who they claimed belonged to the Neeraj Bawana gang who is involved in the murder of a rival gangster outside Rohini Court in April this year.

The accused, Satish, a resident of Jhajjar in Haryana, was earlier a sharp shooter of the notorious Kala Aasaudia gang.

“Satish was involved in the Rohini court shootout, in which rival gangster Rajesh of Neetu Dabodhia gang was murdered, ,” said deputy commissioner of police (Rohini) Rishi Pal.

During interrogation, Satish allegedly has confessed about his involvement in the murder case.

Meanwhile, in two other separate incidents, a 31-year-old proclaimed offender and three snatchers were arrested by Delhi Police.

The proclaimed offender, Pradeep Yadav, was absconding since 2011 in a dacoity case of Maurya Enclave police station. He was carrying a reward of Rs 75,000 for his arrest. In 2011, he along with five other associates had hatched a criminal conspiracy to rob the house of his nephew’s employer. They entered into the house with the help of his nephew and committed the dacoity, police said.

The three snatchers — Jatin Chauhan (22), Raja Pratap Singh (22), Samarth Negi (22) — were arrested when the police were on patrolling duty in the area of Vivek Vihar police station on September 12.

During their interrogation, police learnt that Jatin Chauhan is the master mind and leader of the gang. He disclosed that he used to commit at least 2-3 incidents of robbery or snatching per day. The gang used to steal new two-wheelers or sports bike. They then used these stolen vehicles in committing robberies and snatchings.
