GURGAON: The father of the eightyear-old Class 2 student, who was murdered at Ryan International School, Bhondsi in September, said the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) should arrest all persons involved in murder of his son and bring justice to the family.

Parents of victim Pradyumn Thakur said they had full faith in the CBI. “We have no agenda now but to fight till justice for my son,” said Barun Thakur, victim’s father, adding that arrest of the accused juvenile is not the end of the investigation.

“We believe a larger conspiracy behind the murder of my eight-year-old son’s death. The school management should be held responsible,” said Barun, who hails from Madhubani in Bihar and works for a private company in Gurgaon. The family lives at Maruti Kunj in Bhondsi. His daughter, 11, also studied in Ryan International School.

Sushil Tekriwal, Barun’s lawyer, said, “We have been asking for the CBI investigation from the day one. We have been also saying that school management is responsible in this case and all should be brought to justice.”

We believe a larger conspiracy behind the murder of my eightyearold son’s death. The school management should be held responsible.

The family has vowed to fight for justice and founded the Pradyumn Foundation, that aims for child safety in schools across the country.

“CBI is heading in the right direction and we believe more persons will be arrested as the investigation moves forward. The Gurgaon police initially arrested a school bus conductor after which we demanded a CBI probe. Still, we believe the juvenile accused is not the only person behind the murder rather many more persons are involved,” said Birbal Jha, another lawyer in the case.

He said they filed a PIL in apex Court and also moved Punjab and Haryana HC seeking rejection of anticipatory bail of Pinto family, the owners of Ryan group of institutions.
