held it’s Annual Day and Prize Giving Ceremony at Siri Fort Auditorium. Dr. Kiran Datar, Chairperson, Board of Management welcomed the distinguished guests while Principal Dr. Jyoti Bose presented the Annual Report. The members of Managing Boards of Springdales Education Society and Schools presented the awards to the meritorious students for their excellence in Academic and Co-curricular Activities. The event was graced by HE Abu Adnan Alhaija, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary, Embassy of state of Palestine and Ben Joubert, Deputy High Commissioner, High Commission of South Africa. The Senior School Ballet “The Winds of Change”-an audio-visual performance focused on youth who are the change makers and whose future depends on the extent to which they address the urgent global issues bequeathed to them by earlier generations. Manager Dr. Neerja Sharma proposed Vote of Thanks.

Delhi celebrated its annual function ‘SPECTRUM’ with great zest. The event commenced with lamp lighting by Chief Guest Rajanish Singh, ADM, East, Shahdara and Guests of Honour Geeta Rawat, Councillor, Mandawali Zone and Dr. L.K Dubey, Principal, RSBV Govt Model School, East Vinod Nagar. The students presented the association of the school with the British Council of India through a skit. The dance performances was followed by a street play emphasising upon the need to curb social evils like corruption. The Robo Dance performed by students stole the show. Principal S. Rawat presented the annual report and the function came to a close with a vote of thanks by Academic Director Vinita Lal.

hosted Rising Sun of Friendship – A Special Week, to celebrate - 2017: The year of Japan-india Friendly Exchanges. The event was endorsed by Ambassador of Japan Kenji Hiramatsu and the officials of Japanese embassy. The week was organised to strengthen India-japan relations and to promote interdisciplinary activities at the school. Junior classes were involved in several activities during the week like —umbrella and fan painting, making bookmarks of Japanese and Indian national symbols, talk shows, Judo sessions to promote women safety, etc. Mizuho Hayakawa, Director, Japan Information Centre and First Secretary, Embassy of Japan, was invited for the valedictory function and was welcomed by Principal Rashmi Raj Biswal. The whole event was a great learning experience for the students and they were awarded certificates for their efforts.
