After seeing the police party, Hemant tried to flee and in the process fired a bullet. Luckily, nobody was hurt and Hemant was overpowered,” said Yadav.

During interrogation, Hemant disclosed that he works as a hitman for Rajesh Bawana, also known as Rajesh Bawania, who is presently in Bhondsi Jail. In December 2017, Hemant opened fired at the brother and mother of his rival, identified by his single name Munia, at their home in Barona village in Haryana.

“Munia is a hitman of gangster Neeraj Bawana. While Munia’s brother Dinesh died, his mother survived the attack,” said Yadav.
