REVELLING SCHOOL-TIME

The middle department of Ahlcon International School, Mayur Vihar Phase 1, recently organised a special assembly and a trip to Pratapgarh Farm. These activities were part of the event titled Revelling School-time which aimed to rejuvenate the spirits and make school life an unforgettable experience. The assembly began with an invocation to the Almighty by the teachers. A thought for the day was presented by Komal Tiwari and the news updates were given by Mayank and Sonia. Divya Kapoor gave an insight into the lives of Indian legends. The English department showcased instances from the day-to-day life of the students in the form of a puppet show Comic-on. In addition, a poem was recited by Sunil. Students then watched an entertaining dance by the teachers. The principal and section incharge Dimple Puri conveyed their best wishes to students. At the Pratapgarh farm, students took part in many activities such

as camel riding, camel cart pulling, pot making, cricket, badminton and volleyball. They also participated in mehndi and pottery-making activities. Besides this, students also revelled in the peppy and zippy music played in the central lawn.

(8-E), Rishabh (8-B), and Kunal Verma, Priyanka, Premveer, Smridhi and Naman (all of Class 10A) represented the school and won the second position in all the three contests. The day concluded with the prize distribution ceremony followed by a thankyou speech delivered by the principal.
