POETRY MEET

KSK Academy Senior Secondary School, Sangam Vihar, New Delhi, organised a poetry recitation meet titled Mehfil-e-mushaira on its premises recently. A number of eminent poets from different parts of the country participated in that meet. Internationally renowned Urdu poet Munuwwar Rana also attended the meet. The theme for the event was ‘Qaumi-ekta-diwas’. The chief guest was Vijay Jolly, former BJP MLA. Other distinguished guests were Manish Singh, president of the BJP’S Puravanchal Morcha and Amarnath Jha, president of Mehrauli district BJP. Sardar Narendra Singh Chahal, chairman of KSK group of institutions, welcomed the distinguished guests. Moien Shadab, Sahara TV anchor, conducted the programme. International School, Greater Noida, participated in the Winter Sports Carnival Badminton Championship

2017, which was organised by Kridha Sports Foundation at DDA Sports Complex, Dilshad Garden, recently. A total of about 350 students from schools in Uttar Pradesh and Delhi took part in different age categories. Ryan, Greater Noida, bagged the overall championship trophy with 31 medals in all with 11 gold, 14 silver and 6 bronze medals. Ryanites were praised for their excellent performances. The principal applauded the efforts and motivated students to continue with their good work.
