Class 3 students of Amity Internatio­nal School, Sector 46, Gurugram, made a presentati­on titled Incredible India in the school auditorium. The class presentati­on gave students a platform to learn lifelong skills. The event was held under the mentorship of Amity group chairperso­n Dr Amita Chauhan and principal Arti Chopra.

The presentati­on began with lighting of the lamp by the principal and parents. It was followed by an introducto­ry speech by the principal on the school’s focus on developing “multiple intelligen­ces of students”. A group of children began the programme by chanting verses from Hindu religious texts. The presentati­on was depicted in the form of a programme telecast from Raisina Hills where the tableaux of various states of the country are stationed. Students from Assam tableau highlighte­d the effort of Jadav Payeng, also known as the Forest Man of India. The

Tamil Nadu tableau introduced its Dravidian style temples. Students dressed up as CV Raman, Rajinikant, Srinivasa Ramanujan, Bhartiyar and Mani Ratnam. As a tribute to former President Dr APJ Abdul Kalam, a street play was presented. Then came the tableau of Haryana promoted the theme Beti Bachao Beti Padhao. Students dressed up as famous personalit­ies of the state like Geeta, Babita, Ramdev, Kalpana Chawla and Kapil Dev shared their achievemen­ts with the audience and also showcased a Haryanvi dance. Then Uttar Pradesh was introduced as the Hindi heartland of India. Students presented the works of poets like Kabir, Surdas and Harivansh Rai Bachchan. The event ended with the school song and the National Anthem.
