Bengaluru held goalless in AFC Cup by Transport Utd

NEW DELHI: Bengaluru FC were held to a 0-0 draw by Transport United in the first leg of the premilinar­y stage of the 2018 AFC Cup clash at the Changlimit­hang Stadium in Thimphu, Bhutan, on Tuesday.

The Blues will have their task cut out at their home a week from now, needing a clear win to progress to the second round of qualifiers. With the Blues failing to break down the Bhutan side’s resolute defending the tie is still open as the winner on January 30th will seal a place in the playoff stages.
