ASN Senior Secondary School, Mayur Vihar – I, recently conducted a special assembly titled The Power of Todays’ Youth with an aim to sensitise the students about the strength they possess to change and make the world a better place to live. The assembly began with a prayer followed by a musical performanc­e by the students. The highlight of the day was a powerful skit enacted by the young budding actors who showcased their skills.

In that skit show, they displayed the fact that young people make up the majority of the world’s population. They underlined highlighte­d that youth stand the best chance of making the global goals happen.the assembly concluded with an energetic dance performanc­e. School principal Sonia Luthra in her address said that we all should aim for a world without poverty, inequality and work towards climate change which is within our reach. It is the young people who can turn these promises into a reality. DAV Public School, Sector-7 Rohini, recently celebrated its recognitio­n day to acknowledg­e the achievemen­ts of its brilliant students. The event began with the felicitati­on of chief guest Ramesh Kandpal, a senior instructor at the Akhil Bhartiya Anuvrat Nayas. Kandpal motivated the students with his words. Thereafter, a prize distributi­on ceremony was conducted to felicitate and recognise the talent of students in various fields like academics, art, culture and sports.an array of scintillat­ing performanc­es by students won everyone’s heart. A dance performanc­e titled Namastey India , which depicted the theme of unity in diversity, was wonderful.the vote of thanks was proposed by the principal, who also congratula­ted all the prize winners and highlighte­d the importance of hard work.
