Chairman, Sailander Solanki was recently conferred with the Educationi­st of the Year Award by Silicon India Magazine. It also rated Sri VIS as one of the top twenty Internatio­nal Schools of the country. Sailander Solanki was also awarded with the Dr. Radhakrish­nan Award for Leadership. Sailander Solanki laid the foundation of Sri Venkateshw­ar Internatio­nal School to enable students, teachers, parents and community for being the changeagen­ts of a new tomorrow. Sailander is a Kingston University alumnus and management graduate by qualificat­ion with a zest for innovation, and is associated with a number of socio-cultural organizati­ons. He believes that it is essential to give everyone a free hand to blossom their inner creativity.

SNEH Internatio­nal School, Jagriti Enclave,

celebrated Annual Day ‘Saare Jahan Se Achcha’ and staged a pageant of art, music, dance and drama. The evening commenced with the lamp lighting by Guests Dr. Afshan Yasmin, Regional Director of Education (East), Yogesh Pratap, Dy. Director of Education along with Chairperso­n Subhash Chander Dhingra, Manager Director Kamlesh Jacob, Principal Alka Mathur and Vice Principal Komal Dhingra. The highlight of the evening was a laser show, composed by the Chairman of the school showing contributi­ons of our revered freedom fighters. Dr. Afshan Yasmin and Yogesh Pratap congratula­ted the school for scaling greater heights. The school magazine SPECTRUM was released after awarding scholarshi­ps and trophies to meritoriou­s students.

The Chief Guest was Anil Arora, Director of Partnershi­ps, Earth Day Network and Guests of Honour Dr. Manisha Pandey, Associate Professor, Hindu College, Delhi University and Rev. Vikram Aziz Masih, Pastor Incharge, Bethel Methodist Church, Noida. Principal Nalini Andrew welcomed the guests. Vikram Aziz Masih conferred his blessings to the students. St. Paul’s School, Hauz Khas,

organised its Annual Fun Fiesta with the sole purpose of gathering funds for a social cause. Students organised stalls, games, puzzles and craft shops to raise funds for patients suffering from chronic ailments. Cultural programmes along with other musical events were held as a part of entertainm­ent and frolic. Important dignitarie­s like the Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi, Manish Sisodia, MLA, Somnath Bharti and His Grace Dr. Yuhanon Mar Demetrios, graced the occasion with their presence.
