Annual Day at Army Public School
Army Public School, Dhaula Kuan
recently celebrated its Annual Day with great enthusiasm. The event portrayed the glory of our art and culture and enraptured the audience with the magnificence of its music and dance. Chief Guest was Lt Gen AB Mistry, AVSM, SM, VSM, GOC Delhi Area and the Guest of Honour was Mira Mistry. The Chief Guest visited the Martyrs’ Gallery to pay tribute to those of the alumni who braved bullets defending the honour of our nation. The lamp lighting was accompanied by the rendition of shlokas followed by mesmerizing performances by an eclectic fusion of music, dance, drama and philosophy. Principal Mrid- ula Pant, presented the Annual Report along with the School Captains, Pankhuri Sharma and Kanishk Mallik. The coveted Annual Co-curricular and Sports prizes were given away by the Guest of Honour and the Chief Guest. Meritorious students of the school were also felicitated. The Nishit Saran Luminary of the Year Trophy was awarded to V Kartik of Class XI. The occasion ended with the Chief Guest appreciating the hard work and wonderful performance put up by the staff and students of the school.

Rohini hosted CBSE National Level Science Exhibition. The Chief Guest was Dr. Antriksh Johri, Director IT pro- jects and Chief Information Security Officer at CBSE along with the Guest of Honor K.K. Choudhury, Controller of Examinations, CBSE, D.N. Arora, Chairman, Mount Abu Public School, Archana Thakur, Deputy Director, CBSE and Suraj Prakash who lighted the lamp. Valediction ceremony saw the presence of dignitaries Anurag Tripathi, IRPS, Secretary, CBSE and Dr. Sanyam Bhardwaj, Director (Academics), CBSE. The day concluded with the prize distribution ceremony. Vote of thanks was proposed to CBSE for hosting the exhibition and all the dignitaries for their presence.

He answered the questions on issues such as, losing self-confidence, parental pressure, lack of concentration, lethargy etc. Human Resource Development Minister Prakash Javdekar advised the students to prepare for the examinations without stress. School Principal Manohar Lal felt indebted to the Prime Minister for his involvement and concern.
