PM Modi to inaugurate Mary Kom’s academy

NEWDELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the ‘Mary Kom Regional Boxing Foundation’ in Imphal on March 16 and present at the event will be Olympic medallists -- boxer Vijender Kumar and wrestler Sushil Kumar. Nestled at the foot of Langol hills in Manipur’s Imphal West district, Mary Kom’s Boxing Academy, spread across 3.3 acres.

NEW DELHI: India’s foreign coach Achraf El Karargui finally resigned on Monday, bringing a pre-mature end to his tenure after developing differences with an “unprofessional” Squash Rackets Federation of India (SRFI). Karargui sent his resignation letter to Sports Authority of India (SAI) via an email.
