Batra among top Indians in league

The Indian pool will be led by World No. 49 Sathiyan Gnanasekaran, Sharath Kamal and Manika Batra. Sanil Shetty, Soumyajit Ghosh, Anthony Amalraj and Harmeet Desai are the other top Indians.

NEW DELHI: India’s Sanjivani Jadhav claimed bronze in the women’s 8km race in the 14th Asian Cross Country Championship in Guiyang, China. She clocked 28 minutes 19 seconds. China’s Li Dan won with a time of 28:03 secs.

NEW DELHI: With 220 points, grapplers from Haryana claimed overall team trophy in freestyle boys group in the cadet national wrestling at Pune. Delhi finished second with 156 points, while hosts Maharashtra took the third place with 102 points.
