PRIZE DISTRIBUTION

SD Saraswati Bal Mandir, Punjabi Bagh, recently organised its annual prize distribution ceremony under the guidance of school president Kamal B Jain and principal Reena Verma.

The chief guest of the event was KK Sorte, DDE, District West. Rajeev Bhardwaj, SHO, West Delhi Police, attended the ceremony as the guest of honour. Praveen Kant, president of the Samarth Shiksha Samiti, and Jagdish Kakkar, president of the Samarth Shiksha Samiti (North Z) also attended programme. The event began with the lighting of a lamp, followed by a prayer. The principal welcomed the guests. Thereafter, the students received prizes for their excellent performances in the previous academic session. Students who excelled in music, dance, arts, and sports also got prizes. Specialcategory prizes were given to those who secured 100% marks in different subjects. Scholarships were also given to best performers. Sorte delivered a motivational speech, hailing students’ efforts and highlighting the role of parents and teachers in students’ lives. The event concluded with the vote of thanks. The students of JP International School, Greater Noida, recently visited the Aravali Biodiversity Park as part of an educational trip. The students learnt about the flora and fauna of the neighbouring area. They were made aware of the fact that the conservation of natural habitat is vital as it balances the ecosystem. They also took a pledge to conserve the nature and spread the message of conservation with all zeal. The visit was really a learning experience for the students. The importance of recylcing was also highlited during the event. They learnt about the importance of the consevation of the natural habitat.
