BONE OF CONTENTION
Hans U Nagar, 65, was attacked on Saturday night at his south Delhi farmhouse
He was hit thrice in his abdomen
Nagar also fired back at the attackers with his licensed gun
He told the police that some people had been watching him and making videos of him for the past few weeks
He alleged that one of his brothers and two others sold a family plot in Behrampur holding a market value of ₹100 crore for a paltry ₹9 crore to a private company
Nagar is the son of an army brigadier and a German mother. He also married a German
“When I got to know of the sale, I approached the Badshahpur police station. But some goons involved with the sale met me outside the police station and threatened me to let go of the property,” alleged Nagar.
Over the last few weeks, Nagar alleged that he kept receiving threats from his brothers and the others. Over the last month or so, he had observed that his video was being recorded by unidentified people associated with the suspects. Once it was at a coffee shop in Hauz Khas and on another occasion at a wedding in west Delhi’s Kirti Nagar earlier last week.
The latest of such encounters was with his brother, Ron, just a day before the attack. “I was riding my motorcycle at my farmhouse when I noticed Ron recording my video and that of the farmhouse. When I objected, he told me that my time was up
