First DU cutoff list by end of July
THIS YEAR, DELHI UNIVERSITY IS PLANNING TO ONLY ANNOUNCE FIVE CUTOFF LISTS AND CONDUCT CENTRAL COUNSELLING FOR REMAINING SEATS
NEWDELHI: Delhi University aspirants will get around one month to complete their online registration process for undergraduate courses that will start on May 15 and will end by the third week of June.
The first cutoff list for admission to around 56,000 seats is likely to be announced in the fourth week of July, a DU official said. “The last date to finish online admission process will be sometime in June. We are yet to decide a date though,” a DU official said.
The online registration for all programmes will be online this year.
This year, DU is planning to only announce five cutoff lists and conduct central counselling for remaining seats, if any. Last year the university had announced eleven cutoff lists, with the last list being released in August end.

“The admission process for the five cutoffs will be over by July fourth week after which the new academic session will start. We are doing this to ensure all seats are filled without the admission process dragging till August,” the official said.
On Thursday, the university announced that it will start the admission process for its undergraduate, postgraduate and research courses online from May 15, 18 and 20 respectively.
The registration process for all programmes will be completely online for all categories and for all quotas.
