45 students from Kota institutes make it to top 100

KOTA: As many as 45 students from the coaching institutes in Kota are among the top 100 in the JEE Advanced examinatio­n.

Interestin­gly, some of those who have cracked the difficult examinatio­n hail from Kota city itself.

Meenal Parakh, 17, of Vibrant Academy institute of Kota is the topper in the girls category and has got All India Rank 6 in JEE Advanced 2018, the results of which were declared Sunday.

While Sahil Jain, 17, hailing from a small town Aalod in Bundi district in Kota division has grabbed All India Rank 2nd. He underwent coaching at Vibrant Academy of Kota.

Lay Jain, also 17, a student of Allen Career Institute of Kota has bagged AIR Rank 9 in JEE Advanced. Ayush Kadam is the topper in the Scheduled caste category. These toppers hail from Kota city.

Lay Jain says, “Local aspirants of Kota have the benefit of having coaching hub in their own town due to which they can easily avail the facility of Kota coaching.”

Meenal Parakh adds, “Local aspirants are also inspired by the competitiv­e educationa­l environmen­t of Kota due to which it becomes easier for the locals to seek coaching in their neighbourh­ood.”

Coaching institutes of Kota have so far claimed selection of its 45 students in the merit of top 100 ranks. Pawan Goyal from Jaipur has bagged All India Rank 4 in JEE Advanced.
