As part of the Crystal Anniversary celebrations, series of events were held. “I…discover…i “– an enthralling journey of self-discovery of a student and realising the impact his school days had on his multifaceted personality, was staged. V.K. Shunglu Chairman, DPS Society, was the Chief Guest. Dr. Kiran Datar, Chairperson, DPS International presided over the Function along with Ambassadors, educationists and members of DPS Society. Chief guest appreciated & congratulated the school on their Crystal Anniversary. Principal, DPS International, Amita Mishra emphasised on the significance of discovery through education which was the theme of I…discover…i.
Modern School, Barakhamba Road,
hosted the Annual Gracious Living Foundation Debate. Ashok Pratap Singh, President, Board of Trustees, Modern Schools was the Chief Guest. Dr. Vijay Datta, Principal, Modern School, Barakhamba Road graced the occasion. The eminent judges were- Indu Anand, Principal, Janki Devi Memorial College and an Art Historian of repute. Arti Mathur, Associate Professor, Department of English, PGDAV College, University of Delhi and S.P. Rawal. The students presented their views on the motion “In the Opinion of the House, Yesteryear’s Traditional Family Values are Not Relevant Today.” Ritwick Vasudeva of Modern School Barakhamba Road, won the first prize for Best Speaker and a cash prize of Rs 5000. Army Public School, Dhaula Kuan, won the Rolling Trophy for team effort.
Yog Yatra, an initiative of Child Education Society, the apex body of all Bal Bharati Public Schools/ institutions across the country in collaboration with Mokshayatan Yog Sansthan, was launched in a ceremony hosted by Bal
Bharati Public School, GRH Marg.
The occasion was graced by yoga guru, Padmashri Awardee, Swami Bharat Bhushanji, founder of Mokshayatan International Yogashram; Dr Ishwar Acharya, Director General, Central Council for Research and Naturopathy; Kenichiro Toyofuku, Head, Japan Plus, a special team of India’s Ministry of Commerce and Industry and L. R. Channa, President, Child Education Society, who conceptualized Yog Yatra. Highlight of the programme was signing of the MOU between Swami Bharat Bhushan and L. R. Channa in the presence of LV Sehgal, Principal, BBPS, GRH Marg and Apurvaa Saxena, Head, Delhi MYS. LV Sehgal proposed the Vote of thanks emphasizing that the event marked the commencement of a journey leading to self realisation.

a delegation of 15 students with two teachers S. Arora and I. Barua led by Principal, Anjali Aggarwal and her French counterpart Saar de Michel, Principal, College Emile Vaerhanen, Saint Cloud had a rendezvous with the Indian Ambassador in France, H. E. Vinay Mohan Kwatra and his wife Pooja Kwatra in Paris. Delegation was visiting the French partner school in Saint Cloud as part of a student exchange program. The Ambassador interacted with students about their aspirations and his memories of Delhi. Pooja Kwatra discussed the education system in India. Students were overwhelmed by their hospitality and learnt the skills of diplomacy.
