The accused were identified as Sumit Arora alias Rinku, a resident of Mayur Vihar and his associates Shobi alias Sukhwinder and Manoj Sharma. They threatened the other inmates and ran away after removing the DVR of the CCTVS installed at the centre.”

Various teams conducted raids in Delhi-ncr to nab the accused.

“On Wednesday, following a tip off, Arora was arrested from Rampuri in Ghaziabad. On Arora’s instance, Sukhwinder was also arrested. Manoj Sharma is on the run and efforts are being made to arrest him,” Biswal said.
