(Hons), BA Programme, Statistics (Hons), B.SC Physical Science with Chemistry and B.SC Physical Science with Electronics,” said officiating principal of Hindu College, Anju Srivastava.

An official from Gargi College said BA Programme will be closed while Geography (Hons), History (Hons) and Psychology (Hons) will have a minimal dip in the second list.

“We have already filled 64% of our seats. And we have had some over-admission in Geography and Physics. We cannot be sure which courses will be closed in the second list until Friday, but the cutoff is not expected to drop by more than a mark or two (0.25-0.5 percentage points),” said Pratibha Jolly, principal of Miranda House.

LSR is unlikely to announce a second cutoff for the general category in courses such as History (Hons), Political Science (Hons), Sociology (Hons), Psychology (Hons), B.com (Hons) and Economics (Hons), said principal Suman Sharma, adding cutoffs for the second list were yet to be decided.

At Shaheed Bhagat Singh College, a second list for Mathematics (Hons), Political Science (Hons) and History (Hons) in the general category is unlikely, principal PK Khurana said. B.com (Hons) will be closed at the evening college.

Shri Ram College of Commerce will have limited seats for both Bcom(hons) and Economics (Hons), though the cutoff will only drop “marginally,” the prin- cipal said. However, popular courses at lower cutoffs may be available at off-campus colleges. At Bharati College, principal Mukti Sanyal said there was no taker for the Psychology (H) programme, and the cutoff may drop by up to 5% for general category.

“Our cutoffs will drop by around 0.25 to 2 percentage points. Our English (Hons) and History (Hons) may drop by up to 2.75 and 1.5 percentage points, respectively,” said Inderjeet Dagar, principal of College of Vocational Studies.

In north campus, Kirori Mal College is expected to drop its cutoff for Economics (hons) by up to 1.5 percentage points, as they have had only 5 admissions for the course so far, an admissions committee official said.
