Bengal CM to skip Niti Aayog subgroup meeting

KOLKATA: West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee on Wednesday announced that she should not be attending the meeting of the Niti Ayog sub-group of chief ministers for coordination of policy approach on agriculture and MGNREGA scheduled at New Delhi on July 12. On Wednesday, she had written a letter to the convener of the said sub- group and Madhya Pradesh chief minister, Shivraj Singh Chauhan expressing her inability to attend the meeting since she was informed about the said meeting very late.
