MAYOOR SCHOOL STUDENT SHINES IN KARATE
Ekaksh Anchal, a Class 5 student of
Mayoor School, Noida, has shone in several karate events. The school, which has a collaboration with Mayo College General Council, Ajmer, has encouraged the young champion. Anchal has received a black belt in kata technique. He has also won a silver medal in kumite and a gold medal in kata in the 4th District GB Nagar Karate Championship wherein events were held under several categories such as sub-junior, cadet, junior and under-21. He was selected for the state championship also. In addition, Anchal has also won a gold in the All India Independence Cup Karate Championship. He won a gold in kata and a bronze in kumite in the SKSIS 5th NCR Karate Championship. He received a bronze medal in kumite and a silver in kata in the SKSIS, 8th International Karate Championship. In school karate championship this year, Anchal won a silver in kumite.
