students took part in the activities and got an opportunit­y to enhance their knowledge. The school aimed at the mass participat­ion to make this fest memorable. School chairman Dr Sallauddin Ahmed Siddiqui and manager Kamal Farooqui inaugurate­d the festival. Thereafter, the festivitie­s started with an English inter-class debate and a group discussion competitio­n. Besides, Urdu and Hindi activities were also conducted at different venues. Over the week activities related to different subject such as English, Hindi, Urdu, mathematic­s, science, social science, religious teaching, computer, general knowledge and art were conducted. Aditi Kaicker, a student of Class 10 of Mayoor School, Noida, which has collaborat­ion with Mayo College General Council, Ajmer, has won laurels in basketball competitio­ns at both district and state levels.

She won a silver medal in the

19th UP State Youth Basketball Championsh­ip in Meerut organised by the District Basketball Associatio­n (DBA). She followed it up with a gold medal at the Rising 3 on 3 Invitation­al Basketball Championsh­ip at the Noida stadium organised by BAVM Academy which is recognised by the DBA. Aditi has been successful due to perfect coordinati­on and precise footwork. Principal Alka Awasthi congratula­ted her and encouraged her to strive for greater heights.
