INCHEON: India’s Gaganjeet Bhullar failed to build on a brilliant start as he finished the Asian Tour’s Shinhan Donghae Open in tied eighth place , with South Korean golfer Park Sang-hyun firing an eight-under-par 63 to claim a stunning wire-to-wire victory on the final day of the event in Incheon on Sunday.

2016 champion Bhullar had enjoyed a strong start to the tournament with a first-round 67 but started to fall behind after a 70 in the second round.

On the third day, Bhullar’s three-under 68 helped him climb from tied 15th to tied eighth.

The Indian golfer matched his third round score on the final day but it wasn’t enough to take him up the leaderboard.

He finished with an overall score of 11-under 273,
