Injury rules Chhetri out of Jordan friendly
NEWDELHI: Sunil Chhetri will miss the upcoming friendly against Jordan due to an ankle injury that has ruled him out for at least two weeks. Chhetri suffered the injury during Bengaluru’s match against Kerala Blasters. “The BFC Medical Team has shared the MRI reports. Sunil needs rest of around two weeks and rehabilitation before he can join training,” said India team’s physiotherapist Gigy George. The match against Jordan will be played in Amman on Nov 17.
