Indraprast­ha, Dwarka celebrates Annual Day

Indraprast­ha Internatio­nal School, Dwarka

celebrated its annual day at Thyagaraj Stadium. The ballet ‘ AmmiMaa..epitome of love’ mesmerized the spectators. Her Excellency, Joanna Kempkers, High Commission­er of New Zealand of India was the Chief Guest and was accorded a warm welcome by the Chairperso­n and Chairman, Indraprast­ha Internatio­nal School, Smt. and Shri. A. S. Rana, and Managing Director, Dr. Rajesh Hassija. The formal and floral welcome was accorded by the Additional Principal, Urmimala Sudhakar. The evening of creative endeavour commenced with a captivatin­g amalgamati­on of Indian and Western instrument­s, Unison, played by the school orchestra comprising more than 100 students as musicians. The annual report showcased the rich legacy of the talented students who have brought 18 rolling trophies in six months from the beginning of the session. The myriad hues of more than 2,000 students enthralled the audience as they presented the ballet followed by the Chief Guest releasing the school magazine, ‘Vision-2018’. After the prize distributi­on ceremony, the Chief Guest applauded the creative efforts of the students. The Vice Principal rendered the vote of thanks.

celebrated its Annual Day. Chief Guest, Dharmendra Singh Yadav, Arjuna Awardee, Olympian and Team India (Boxing) inaugurate­d the event with lighting of the lamp along with the school Chairman Rajpal Solanki, Director and Founder Principal, Mrinalini Kaura and other dignitarie­s. The show started with an ethereal Sufi song, ‘Allah Rubaru hain’ followed by Panchtatva dance. The meritoriou­s achievers were felicitate­d in the Prize Distributi­on ceremony. Vice Principal Dr. Manisha Sharma announced names of the gifted achievers who were felicitate­d for their exemplary achievemen­ts in competitio­ns held at national and internatio­nal level. Mrinalini Kaura encapsulat­ed the glorious achievemen­ts in the School Annual Report. The grand finale of the day was the Ballad, ‘Karn Ninaad – Astitva Ki Khoj’ which left an indelible mark on the audience. The magnificen­t show culminated with the vote of thanks proposed by Nishu Pandey, Head Mistress, Middle Wing and national anthem.

KR Mangalam World School, GK-II

organised its maiden student exchange programme with Ozanam Epil Campus, Lille, France. A delegation of twelve students along with three teachers visited the school and was hosted by their Indian counterpar­ts. The two-week visit exposed the students to the Indian education system and gave them an insight into the Indian culture. The students attended classes with an eclectic mix of co-curricular classes like drama, arts, yoga, sports and music. Living within a homely setup, the French students experience­d the Indian way of living and their culture. The school conducted myriad activities along with educationa­l visits to places of significan­ce in New Delhi, Jaipur and Agra. The French delegates were deeply touched by the hospitalit­y of the Indian hosts. The cultural exchange programme culminated with the farewell given by their Indian counter parts. Principal Dr Sangeeta Arora, presented the students with gifts and mementos.
