Annual Day celebrations at The Indian School
The Indian School, Sadiq Nagar presented
glimpses of the states of Orissa, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh and West Bengal at their Annual Day named ‘The Enchanting East: Chronicles of The States of the Eastern Coast of India’. Chairman Prafull Goradia and Vice Chairperson Dr. Nayana Goradia graced the occasion. The first in the line was Odisha- its Rath Yatra, the Sambalpuri and Odissi dance forms. Next was Tamil Nadu where students presented Bharatanatyam followed by Andhra Pradesh, the ‘Kohinoor of India’ with its shrines, temples and monuments reflecting art, craftsmanship and architecture. West Bengal flourished its rich literary heritage, folk music and dance. Vande Mataram rang out in its glory, as participants filed back on stage with their teachers to take a final bow. Principal Tania Joshi proposed the Vote of Thanks.
ITL Public School, Dwarka
hosted t he t wo-day CBSE Regional Science Exhibition with the theme ‘Scientific Solution for Challenges in Life’. This event focused on promoting interest in science and technology among students through self designed models. The Chief Guest, Secretary CBSE, Anurag Tripathi IRPS inaugurated the magnum opus science exhibition and the School’s Atal Tinkering Lab. He reiterated upon the impact of life skills, experiential learning and pedagogical advancement through differentiated instructions. Dr Sweta Singh, Joint Secretary, CBSE (Academics) graced the event as the Guest of Honour. Pragya Verma, CBSE Observer also graced the occasion. A panel of erudite judges, observed, interacted and evaluated each exhibit. The Valedictory Session marked the presence of Dr. Biswajit Saha, CBSE Director (Skill Education and Innovation). The 20 selected teams for National Level were congratulated for their outstanding i deas. Principal Sudha Acharya congratulated all the participating teams.
SNEH International School, New Rajdhani Enclave
celebrated its Annual Day ‘Magical Moments’. The evening commenced with lamp lighting by guests Aparajita Jha, former model and finalist Gladrags, Mrs India Contest and Mehul Surana, Film Actor, debut film “Kaashi” with chairperson Subhash Dhingra, Manager Director Kamlesh Jacob and Principal Alka Mathur. The students presented songs, western dances and a fitness regime showcasing gymnastics and aerobics. The Snehites brought to life the popular play ‘Aladdin’. The highlight was a one-of-a-kind laser show, composed by chairman of the school, depicting the message of righteousness. Scholarships and trophies were awarded to meritorious students. The principal presented the Annual Report and manager-director Kamlesh Jacob proposed the Vote of Thanks.
DAV Public School, Pushpanjali Enclave
celebrated Prize Distribution Ceremony ‘Protsahan Parv’. The function was presided over by RS Sharma, chairman (DAVPS) and General Secretary (DAVCMC), Sneh Verma, Manager (DAVPS) with other dignitaries. Special guests of the day were family members of the alumnus T.S. Shriram, who unfortunately had an untimely demise at a young age of 21 years. Protsahan Parv commenced with the school band which reverberated the entire campus with fervour. Principal Rashmi Raj Biswal presented the Annual Report. The audience was taken on a world tour, covering countries like Russia, China, and Hawaii Islands with Kaleidoscope. The release of school magazine was followed by the Prize Distribution Ceremony, honoring the meritorious students. Finally, the theater group Agaaz presented a play ‘Shor – the Echoes of Nature’, with an appeal to adopt various means to save nature.
