-

NEW DELHI: The Delhi Police said Wednesday that a web and mobile application to register online reports of missing persons, including children, has been developed and was launched on September 13 and open for the public to use.

In a status report advocate Rahul Mehra, the standing counsel of the Delhi government (criminal), told the court that efforts will be made by the Delhi Police to give due publicity to the application.

Following such submissions, a bench of Justice Manmohan and Justice Sangita Dhingra Sehgal disposed off a plea which the court had initiated after a domestic help had gone missing from Rohini in April 2019.

During trial, the Delhi High Court also monitored the start and progress of the mobile application to file missing persons’ complaints online.

The court was informed that while the mobile application is functional and is available on Android, another six weeks would be required to float it on the IOS.

The bench was also shown how a complaint can be registered from the application.htc NEW DELHI: Lighter bulletproof vests, vegan scrambled eggs, drone technology, waterless personal hygiene solutions, and a diagnostic tool for detection of cancer tissues — these are some of the products which will be put on display during the third edition of the Industry Day at Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi.
