INTEGRATED DISEASE SURVEILLANCE PROGRAMME
Coordinating with all districts n
Sharing contact history between district for community surveillance
Communicating with other states for contact tracing
Sharing data nationally
Implementing all guidelines of the Centre
DISTRICT TASK FORCE
A 27-member team in each district, headed by n the district magistrate, which is authorised to take all decisions
Officers from the integrated disease surveillance programme, health department, municipal corporation and Delhi pollution control committee are part of the panel.
All agencies have to report to the committee
HEALTH WORKERS
Door-to-door screening for people with n symptoms such as fever and cough Assessment of risk of getting Covid-19 and early detection of cases
Taking down detailed history of people who have tested positive
Conducting IEC exercise to educate people about disease prevention and how to remain in quarantine
CIVIC BODIES
Spraying disinfectants n
Sanitation of the area and disposing waste, including bio-medical waste generated from residences of those in home quarantine
POLICE
Ensuring no one steps out of their home, especially in the containment zone
Bringing back anyone who runs away from containment zone or government quarantine facilities
HOSPITALS
All hospitals in the containment n zone or buffer zone of a containment area have to report any clinically suspected case of Covid-19 to the district office
