One person was killed and three others were injured when terrorists hurled a grenade on a newlyopened wine shop in Jammu and Kashmir’s
Baramulla district on Tuesday, officials said. Terrorists lobbed a grenade towards the wine shop at around 8.30pm, injuring four people, the officials said, adding that the victims were rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment where one later succumbed to his injuries. A police spokesperson said all four were employees of the shop and hailed from the Jammu division. “Area cordoned and search started to nab culprits,” the spokesman tweeted.

Kannada television actor Chethana Raj died on Tuesday after suffering complications following a cosmetic surgery at a private hospital in Bengaluru, with the 21-year-old’s parents alleging she died due to medical negligence while undergoing a procedure to reduce body fat. Raj was admitted to Dr Shetty’s Cosmetic Centre on Monday, following which she experienced breathing difficulties. She was rushed to another hospital, where she was declared brought dead. DCP (North) Vinayak Patil said an unnatural death report under CRPC Section 174 was registered based on the parents’ complaint.
