Mane in Munich for medical check
BERLIN: Sadio Mane arrived in Germany on a private jet on Tuesday to undergo a medical check with the Liverpool forward on the verge of signing for Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich. Media reports said Mane’s transfer will cost Bayern around €41 million. The Senegal forward is expected to sign a three-year contract.
Ronaldo creates national record
NEW DELHI: Indian cyclist Ronaldo Singh set a national record in 200m flying time trial by breaching the 10 seconds barrier on way to the semi-finals of men’s elite sprint race at the Asian Track Cycling Championship here on Tuesday. He clocked 9.946s in the qualification for the national record.
