Alliance Air flights to Delhi, Bilaspur to continue till Oct 26

PRAYAGRAJ: Alliance Air flights operating from Prayagraj Airport to Delhi and Bilaspur will continue till October 2024, as flights to both these cities have now been included in the summer schedule of the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), said officiating director, Prayagraj Airport Rajesh Kumar on Friday.

The summer schedule will be effective till October 26, 2024 making it plain that the flights from Prayagraj to Delhi and Bilaspur will now operate till October 26, 2024. According to the new schedule, the flights will operate from Monday to Saturday. Alliance Air’s Delhi and Bilaspur flight was not included in the summer schedule of DGCA earlier.

After April 15, Alliance Air also stopped the bookings of these flights. Following which the matters reached the Civil Aviation Ministry and the flights have now been included in the summer schedule.

As per the schedule, Alliance

Air aircraft will fly from Delhi to Bilaspur on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The same flight will take off from Bilaspur and land at Prayagraj airport at 5.45 pm. It will depart from here for Delhi at 6.10 pm.

On Thursdays and Saturdays, the same flight will fly from Delhi and reach Prayagraj at 9.35 am. From here at 10am the same aircraft will take off for Bilaspur and from Bilaspur it will leave for Delhi.

On Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, Alliance Air flight will fly from Delhi and reach Prayagraj at 5.30 pm. It will then depart from here back for Delhi at 5.55 pm.

Meanwhile, Akasa Air’s Delhi flight is also set to start from May 1. After its launch, there will be one flight each from Prayagraj to Delhi by Alliance Air, Akasa and IndiGo each day of the week.
