Nidhhi’s ‘armour of confidence’ helped her win a talent hunt

Michael. After a nationwide talent hunt for a female lead, the makers finally zeroed in on Nidhhi Agerwal, a model from Bangalore. Her first song, Ding dang, from the film will be launched today.

Sources say that Nidhhi, who is a professional ballet dancer, bagged the film thanks to her screen presence and charisma. A source says, “Bangalore has given Bollywood some of its biggest women actors, such as Anushka Sharma and Deepika Padukone, so Nidhhi could be the third discovery. Besides her debut film, she is also rumoured to have signed a three-film deal with a leading production house.”

Sabbir Khan says, “A key characteristic that Dolly’s character required was for her to be a normal girl pretending to be super confident. That’s what I found in Nidhhi. She’s a young girl, but puts on an armour of confidence when she has to deliver.

“She could come across as the girl next door and be sexy as well. She is also a very good dancer.”

Producer Viki Rajani says, “Sabbir launched Tiger and Kriti, who are one of the biggest stars of the current generation. We are confident that his decision to launch Nidhhi in Munna Michael will prove to be just as successful. Nidhhi is definitely a talent to watch out for.”
