-

Aproud alumna of Miranda House, Pratibha Jolly, is now the principal of the same college. “I had a group of very vibrant friends. We used to chat a lot and it was so much fun. I remember, college ke gate se hostel ke gate tak gaane gaate hue jaate the,” laughs Jolly. Despite the passing of so many years, Jolly is still friends with her college mates. “My batch mates are doing great in life and we are maintaining friendship till now. The ambience of Delhi University was great and we learnt so much from it. Those memories will stay forever with me.”

Recalling her days, Jolly says, “I was a science student and we needed a lot of stamina. 5 baje college lab se free hote the aur fir der tak canteen main gappe marte the. We used to enjoy during summer vacations and those were the lovely time.”

Coming back to the same college as a principal gives an immense pleasure to her. “Initially, I was a faculty member in the university and after a gap of 16 years, I became principal. The time I came back, I was a changed person and had a great perspective about life.”
