This 8-year-old spy-superhero can sniff out crime

He is known for his children-centric films like Taare Zameen Par, Hawaa Hawaai, and Stanley Ka Dabba, and now filmmaker Amole Gupte is all set to launch his next discovery Khushmeet Gill, who plays an 8-year-old wonder boy who acquires a superpower.

Eros International’s in-house franchise label, Trinity Pictures, will present their first spy-superhero franchise, Sniff !!!. Khushmeet plays the protagonist Sunny Gill in this family entertainer that revolves around a Sikh boy, who is a spy-in-the-making. With his gift of super smell, Sunny fights crime in his adventurous world. Glimpses of Sunny’s world can be watched in the trailer of the film on Eros Now.

Speaking about the film, Gupte says, “Sniff !!! portrays the journey of an endearing young spy-in-the-making who, with his superpowers, is going to enthral audiences. It’s a unique concept and a new genre hitherto unexplored in Hindi cinema.” Ajit Thakur, CEO, Trinity Pictures, adds, “Our first hero is Sunny Gill, an underdog, who is India’s first spysuperhero. With Sniff !!!, we’ve tried to create a pure children’s entertainer that an entire family, from seven to 70, can watch together”.

Written & directed by Amole Gupte, Sniff!!!, a Trinity Pictures franchise, is scheduled to release on August 25. HTC
