Cinema for a cause gets celeb approval
Bollywood may be all about entertainment, entertainment and entertainment, but more often than not, it is also all for a cause. And so, the recent screenings of the film Padman have seen massive support and guest presence in Delhi and Mumbai.
Held through the week, these dos were attended by various members of the film industry as well as politicos and diplomats. Actors Akshay Kumar and Radhika Apte were captured all smiles.
From Smriti Irani, Minister of Textiles and Information & Broadcasting, and Yuri Afanasiev, UN Resident Coordinator in India to actors such as Varun Dhawan and Jhanvi Kapoor and filmmaker Kiran Rao, the star power was aplenty.
