Honey thanks fans for ‘overwhelming’ welcome

- Prashant Singh

It goes without saying that Yo Yo Honey Singh has delivered many charttopping songs in his career. The composer and rapper hasn’t been very active for some time now due to an illness (he revealed last year that he was suffering from bipolar disorder) but he’s on the path to making a big comeback with the hit songs Dil Chori, and Chhote Chhote Peg from the film Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety (SKTKS).

“Honey is someone who is known for delivering hits. He’s happy the audiences were eager to listen to his songs in the film,” says a source.

When contacted, Honey said, “My last song, Dheere Dheere (a cover of the song from Aashiqui; 1990), broke all records and now my fans have given me an overwhelming welcome after two years. I am really thankful to all my fans for the kind of love they have showered on me for my songs in SKTKS. I hope to continue doing good work for them.”

My last song, Dheere Dheere broke all records, and now my fans have given me an overwhelming welcome after two years (for new songs Dil Chori and Chhote Chhote Peg).
