DECEMBER 2015 After RSS protest, FIR filed against Prof Sudha Choudhary of Mohanlal Sukhadia University, Udaipur, for inviting well-known scholar and former head of philosophy department at Delhi University, Prof Ashok Vohra, to speak on gods and goddesses. JUNE 2016 University of Rajasthan, Jaipur, asks students of Master of Arts in Rajasthani Language, Literature and Culture to write an essay on the BJP ideology in the final year paper. FEBRUARY 2017 Following protests by RSS’s student wing, ABVP, Rajshree Ranawat of Jai Narain Vyas University, Jodhpur, suspended for inviting Jawaharlal Nehru University professor Nivedita Menon to a seminar. Menon allegedly made controversial remarks on Kashmir and the Indian army. HC later stayed the suspension.
