Hottest March in Shimla in last seven years
SHIMLA: Shimla on Tuesday recorded highest temperature in last seven years. As per data available with the state meteorological department, the maximum temperature of Shimla town was recorded at 25.6 degrees Celsius. In 2010, the temperature was recorded at 25.8°C. “It is the third highest temperature recorded. As per records with the Met department, the highest temperature was recorded in March 2004 at 27.2 °C,” said Manmohan Singh, Shimla Meteorological centre director.
