‘PAY DEMAND MAY BITE KUMBLE’

Former India coach Madan Lal felt Anil Kumble could be facing the heat since he has led the charge to give a hike to players.

“It could be one of the reasons. The BCCI has taken a revenue hit from the ICC. I feel the players’ salary issue could have been raised at an appropriate time later,” said Lal. “We also don’t know what the players have told the BCCI about Kumble in their feedback,” he said.
