Correction
The story ‘Killer virus: South India worst hit as dengue spreads its tentacles’ published on July 19 used data from a World Health Organisation factsheet that says the efficacy of Sanofi Pastuer’s Dengvaxia is 59.2% against dengue and 79.1% against severe dengue.
As the trials progressed, the efficacy has increased to 65.5% against dengue and 93.2% against severe dengue, said Sanofi Pastuer in a statement.
We stand corrected.
